A.H. Systems BCP-519 Broadband Current Probe 100 Hz – 500 MHz
Description
A.H. Systems BCP-519 Broadband Current Probe 100 Hz – 500 MHz is designed to permit field intensity meters, spectrum analyzers, and other 50 ohm impedance instruments to measure quantitative magnitudes of current.
Conducted currents can be measured without making direct contact with the source conductor or metallic surface by means of clamp-on current probes. Measurements can be made on single and multi-conductor cables, ground and bonding straps, shielded conduits and on coaxial cables.
The BCP-519 has a usable frequency range of 100 Hz to 100 MHz with a transfer impedance of 0.005 ohms from 10 kHz to 100 MHz Primary power currents of 200 amperes DC to 60 Hz, 70 amperes 400 Hz and 60 amperes CW and 5,000 amperes pulse will not alter the transfer impedance.
Features
- Measures currents on 50 Hz, 60 Hz and 400 Hz power lines
- Ideally suited to measuring currents on large cables.
- Individually Calibrated (Transfer Impedance calibration included)
- High Current Capability
- Split Type Clamp-on Design
